Effective Date: September 4, 2026

The full name of the App is Panda Tai Chi for Beginners, commonly referred to as Panda Tai Chi. Panda Tai Chi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) places great importance on protecting Users’ personal information and privacy. This Privacy Policy is intended to clearly inform Users how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose personal information when they use the App’s services, as well as the legal rights available to Users.

This Privacy Policy applies to all features of the App, including but not limited to light Tai Chi and Baduanjin exercise courses, daily guided practice sessions, daily mindfulness quotes, panda IP companionship, personal practice data records, and all other services.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have carefully read, fully understood, and voluntarily agreed to all provisions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any provision of this Policy, please stop using all services of the App immediately.

The App does not require Users to sign in or register an account. All User data is associated only with the User’s local device. We strictly follow the principle of “minimum necessity” when collecting User information and never engage in excessive collection or misuse of Users’ private data.

The App is primarily intended for users aged 16 and older and is not specifically directed at children. Users under the age of 16 may use the App only if their legal guardian has first read and agreed to this Policy. If applicable law prescribes a higher minimum age or other guardianship requirements, local law will apply.

1. Information We Collect

(1) Basic Device Information

To maintain the stable operation of the App, adapt it to different device models, correct operational failures, and optimize the product experience, we automatically collect non-sensitive device information such as device model, system version, network status, basic device identifiers, and App operation logs. This type of information cannot be linked to a specific natural person and is used solely for service operation, maintenance, and product optimization.

(2) User Activity Data

To record Users’ exercise progress, we locally store activity data such as course practice records, check-in data, practice duration, and feature usage records. All such data is stored only on the User’s local device and is used solely to provide the User with personal data review, progress tracking, check-in incentives, and feature adaptation services.

(3) iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) Permission (Optional)

The App offers an iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization option. This permission is entirely optional and is not necessary. If you choose to refuse tracking, your use of any core feature will not be affected; only cross-app data analytics and personalized attribution statistics capabilities will be disabled.

Additional Note: At present, even if a User grants ATT permission, the App does not read or upload the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). If we later enable advertising measurement, attribution, or cross-app tracking features that require the IDFA, we will provide notice and obtain any necessary authorization in accordance with applicable requirements.

2. Rules Governing the Use of Information

(1) Information is used solely to provide, support, and maintain the App’s exercise services and to provide Users with core features such as guided course practice and check-in records;

(2) Information is used for product feature development, experience optimization, troubleshooting, and service stability maintenance;

(3) With the User’s authorization, information is used for product data statistics and experience optimization;

(4) No data will be used for unrelated purposes, and we will not sell, rent, or disclose any of a User’s personal data.

3. Information Storage and Protection

(1) Storage Method: Personal activity data such as User practice and check-in data is stored locally as a priority;

(2) Retention Period: Data is retained only for the period necessary to provide the services. When a User uninstalls the App or clears local data, the corresponding personal usage data will also be deleted;

(3) Security Protection: We use standardized encryption technology and access-control mechanisms to protect User data and guard against the risk of data leakage, alteration, or loss.

4. Third-Party Services

To maintain stable App operation, monitor errors, perform basic data statistics, and adapt services for overseas use, the App integrates the following compliant third-party SDKs on a minimum-necessary basis. All third-party services strictly comply with applicable local privacy laws and the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and collect data only as necessary to provide their respective functions. They do not engage in unauthorized excessive collection, privacy theft, or unlawful sharing. Details are as follows:

(1) Bugly SDK

Information Collected: Basic device parameters, system version, anonymized device identifiers, App feature usage activity, and visit duration. None of the data contains real-name information or can be used to identify an individual.

Compliance Statement: It fully complies with overseas privacy requirements and follows Google Play and App Store privacy standards. Data is anonymized and de-identified, is not linked to any User’s personal or private information, and is not used for targeted advertising.

(3) Alamofire SDK

(4) RealmSwift SDK

Provider: MongoDB Inc. (MIT/Apache 2.0 License)

General Third-Party Compliance Principles:

1. All third-party SDKs follow the principle of “minimum necessity” and process only the data needed to provide their respective functions. They never collect excessive amounts of Users’ private data;

2. All collected data is anonymized and de-identified and cannot be used to identify or locate a specific natural person;

3. Third parties will not use User data for advertising or marketing, sale, cross-platform sharing, or any other unrelated purpose;

4. If we add compliant third-party services in the future, we will promptly update and publish this Privacy Policy.

5. Users’ Legal Rights

(1) Right to Be Informed: You have the right to know the scope and purposes of our collection and use of personal information;

(2) Right to Independent Control: You may disable notifications, tracking, and other permissions at any time in your device’s system settings;

(4) Right to Inquire and Complain: You may use our official contact information to ask privacy-related questions or submit a complaint.

6. Protection of Minors

For purposes of this Policy, a “minor” or “child” means an individual who, under the applicable law of the country or region where the User is located, has not yet reached the legal age of majority or, for purposes of protecting children’s personal information, has not yet reached the age at which the individual may independently consent to the processing of relevant personal information. Because different jurisdictions may apply different age standards, the determination will be made under the applicable law where the User is located. If a User has not reached the local legal age of consent, the User’s parent or other legal guardian must first read and agree to this Policy and provide necessary guidance and supervision while the User uses the App. Any stricter protections required by local law will apply.

The App is a light exercise tool and is not specifically directed at minors. We do not actively collect minors’ private information. If you are a minor, please use the product only with your guardian’s knowledge and consent.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to product development, business adjustments, or changes in laws and regulations. The updated Policy will be posted within the App. A User’s continued use of the services will be deemed acceptance of the updated provisions.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The formation, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Privacy Policy shall be governed first by the laws and regulations of the region where the User is located. Where there are no clearly applicable local laws or regulations, the laws of the People’s Republic of China shall apply. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through amicable consultation. If consultation fails, either party may bring an action before a court of competent jurisdiction where our legal entity is located.

9. Medical Disclaimer

This App is not a medical service tool. All Tai Chi and Baduanjin videos, movement instructions, and relaxation guidance in Panda Tai Chi are provided solely as exercise references and cannot replace professional diagnosis or treatment by licensed healthcare professionals.
